"It has been a billing nightmare with this agent/office/company from day one. Initially they saved me some money on my policies. I had Homeowners, Multiple Car, and motorcycle coverage. I can never get a straight answer when it comes to billing. Over-charging, under charging, etc. Disputing back and forth about bills they said weren't paid (on auto-pay), then getting a refund for overpayment because I paid twice on a bill that they said I hadn't paid. Doubled my insurance premiums on renewal and had no way of explaining the increase other than "we sometimes raise premiums for tickets, accidents, credit, etc".... none of those things were applicable to me. It doubled simply because they wanted more money. I canceled with them as of Feb 14th and in their style of handling things and trying to get an answer regarding the premiums paid and the refunds owed... "we'll check into it and get back to you", "we'll have to check with billing". Once again, billing issues and absolutely no real answers but the typical run-around. Maybe someone else will have better luck with State Farm, but I wouldn't go through this agent/office."

We will take this opportunity to clarify what an agent office can and cannot do:
- If a customer repeatedly calls into the agent office to berate the staff, act belligerent and hang up before the staff can respond, this does not allow the agent office to provide optimum service.
- When a customer repeatedly does not respond to voice mails/texts/emails, this does not allow the agent office to provide optimum service.
- It's the customer's responsibility to ensure their bills are paid on time.
- For auto pay, it is the customer's responsibility to communicate with their financial institution if payments are late paid, not paid or double paid. Financial institutions will communicate with their customer. The customer's financial institution will not communicate with the agent office.
- Customer bills are managed and sent out from the corporate office. The agent office can initially provide general information on the billing but need to communicate with the billing department to be able to provide the customer with specific information on their specific billing.
- Premiums are determined by the corporate office using a complex rating system utilizing over 200 customer specific factors. The agent office has no control of premiums. The agent office can initially provide general information on a customer's premiums but needs to communicate with the corporate office to be able to provide the customer specific information on their specific premiums.
- Insurance provider rates are regulated by the state department of insurance. Insurance providers cannot simply double prices just because they want to make more money.

"When Bert originally reached out to me, I did not have a vehicle but Bert was very hopeful in pricing out no name insurance for me, which at the time, wasn't a better deal than what I already had. I assured him that by the end of the year that I would have a car. So he followed up with me in October and I told him to give me another month. I ended up getting a car early November so I texted him with the good news and he emailed me a quote and we got on a call the next day. Bert made the process easy. He even went over pros and cons of getting certain coverages which was very helpful. He was very focused on getting me to understand what I was paying for instead of signing me up for things I didn't need."

"Just received a call from Sam Custer to go over new options and to check on weather I'm happy with the insurances I have. Which I am! So, thank you. When I first called, I spoke with Jenn. She truly is amazing because she helped me through many questions I had and helped through adding my son to my insurance. She explained all questions and made me feel comfortable with my decisions. Never pressured me into anything. I so much appreciated that. I've been told I have to do this and that with my sons insurance on my insurance through progressive, when it's so not true.
